HKU Science Outreach Team
The HKU Science Outreach Team is a self-run, self-developed and student-led organization under the Faculty of Science of The University of Hong Kong in 2012. The purpose of the team is to build up a task force to promote science literacy in the community, and also engage the students to learn and self-develop through the experiential learning activities using their knowledge and skills to communicate science to the community. We have the following missions:
1. To promote science literacy in the community
2. To exchange and communicate the science knowledge with the community
3. To inspire tomorrow’s scientists and engage students to develop a career in science
This year, we are going to hold the following activities, hoping to widen the horizon of the primary and secondary students and also raising their interests in exploration in science.
